Innovation in Inclusive Education: eResponders & KIT’s eLearning Journey
“KIT envisions a world where inclusion is the norm. That’s why we offer different types of training, including online sessions. We wanted our courses to be engaging, attractive, and inclusive. To create these courses, we needed a team with the skills to work closely with us while also being able to work independently, relieving us of the need to worry about every little detail of the process.”
KIT is a nonprofit organization that helps child and youth development organizations and schools create and sustain inclusive practices.
Our working relationship with KIT began in 2020. From the outset, we established a close, cooperative relationship and discussed the best way to manage our workflow. KIT serves as a perfect example of how client relationships can evolve into team partnerships. eResponders can assemble a team to support KIT as their needs change and evolve.
The eResponders team supports KIT in creating over 30 eLearning modules designed to illustrate concepts and teaching points using engaging content, including videos, animations, characters, and learner interactions, thereby promoting engagement and learning.

Accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
eResponders Inc. is strongly committed to accessibility and UDL. We prioritize maximizing learning for students with a wide range of experience, knowledge and skills by applying UDL principles to all aspects of instruction. Additionally, all work produced by eResponders will be accessible to those with hearing and vision impairments as well as mobility limitations.
All eModules are created to support the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and Section 508 accessibility standards by including captioning, alternative tags for images and alternatives to completing drag and drop activities.
All of our modules are built with inclusivity in mind – ADA compliance and diverse representation that shows characters of different races, ethnicities, abilities, sexual orientation and gender identification.
“Since working with eResponders we have saved a lot of time building the modules, our audience is more engaged, we see better results in our LMS and users experience a better understanding”
